WHAT’S ALL THIS:
Rapid project sprint. Using this template to sprint short projects (1-2 months). I’ve used it in the past for:
- Clarification (Sometimes laying out projects helps us uncover risks, roadblocks, etc.)
- Rapid prioritization (15-20 mins of filling this out helps uncovering what’s actually important, realize dependencies, etc.).
HOW TO USE THIS TEMPLATE:
- Tasks (green) are related to Projects
- Projects (Purple) are related to Goals
- Goals (Red) are general milestones.
- “STUFF” (Brown) is where tasks are “dumped” as the first layout phase.
Productivity Tool: MSP Framework
Using the MSP framework for quickly separating what’s important vs. what’s ideal. Sometimes quick project planning is started with a blob of ideas without structure and prioritization is fuzzy.
- M ⇒ Minimum goals/tasks/product
- S ⇒ Middle ground between M and P
- P ⇒ Perfectionism (What I’d like to do)
